Great to see how the startup ecosystem in colleges is evolving.
Recently attended the Investor Connect Event at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology and have also been visiting several college incubation centres.
It made me think about my college days. I had a business idea then, but often wondered, “Can I actually tell my college or faculty that I’m doing business?”
Today, students have incubators, faculty support, mentors and investors around them.
Through MGM Investments, I’m happy to be part of this growing ecosystem and support promising founders.
The question is no longer, “Can I build a business while I’m in college?”
The ecosystem is now saying, “Yes, build it. Let us help you build it better.”
What can happen in 10 years? From receiving an award in 2016 to giving one in 2026.
Life has a beautiful way of bringing things full circle.
Being part of the jury for the Student Edition of the SuyaSakthi Homepreneur Awards was especially meaningful because I got to see young student founders taking their first steps.
It reminded me of where I started too, as a student exploring entrepreneurship.
The moment looked familiar.
But after 10 years, I saw it from a completely different perspective.
Grateful for the journey I’ve had so far, and for every client, student, and team member who has been part of this journey and travelled this path with me.
A special thank you to Mr. Hemachandran and Startup Singam team, for the opportunity.
I’m simply grateful for how far the journey has taken me #gratitude

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to be part of a Government of India initiative focused on enabling MSMEs to explore global markets and digital trade.
I was invited as a speaker to share my insights on e-commerce, B2C, and how MSMEs can use digital commerce to go global.
Grateful to the Ministry of MSME for including me in this initiative and for the opportunity to contribute.
