Assalamu Alaikum,

Growth does not come from comfort. It comes from discipline.

When the early Muslims faced hardship — hunger, fear, loss, exhaustion — they did not wait until they felt strong. They obeyed Allah, even when it hurt.

Allah says:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنيَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ
“Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in ranks as though they are a solid structure.” (Qur’an 61:4)

That strength — the ability to stay firm when you want to quit — is what builds faith, success, and peace.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The strong one is not the one who overcomes others, but the one who controls himself when he is angry.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Discipline is not cold or harsh. It is love — for your soul, your health, your family, and your Hereafter.

You will not always feel inspired.
You will not always feel seen.
But if you stay consistent, Allah will see you — and that is enough.

If you struggle with consistency, emotions, or willpower — it is time to rebuild from the inside out.

...It allows you to build a family and please Allah SWT.

And it's 1/2 your Deen.

But even knowing all of these things...

[A BIG SHAME... Here's what I'm doing about it] 😔

So many brothers and sisters aren't taught even the most BASIC rulings and teachings regarding marriage...

🚨 There’s a disease spreading in our ummah…

It’s not physical... It’s spiritual.

The Prophet ﷺ warned us about zina of the eyes, and today...

It’s one of the biggest causes of broken marriages, weak hearts, and men losing their haya’.

Even brothers who pray 5 times a day…

Even students of knowledge…

Even da’wah carriers… are falling into it.

But the Prophet ﷺ said:

“O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity.”
(Bukhari 5066)

Marriage, when done for Allah is not just love and companionship.

It’s protection.

It’s a shield.
