We’re Andy and Julie — a couple in our 60s who have just completed an unforgettable year-long sabbatical travelling around the UK and abroad to celebrate turning 60. After over 100 videos from our “year out,” we’re now stepping into a brand-new chapter.
After returning to work, we realised how important it is to keep adventure at the heart of our lives. And now, 8 months later, Julie has officially retired — ready for a fresh start and a new sense of freedom. While Andy continues working, Julie (and Teddy!) are exploring life after retirement with everyday adventures, countryside walks, travel plans and simple moments of joy.

Hello . Andy and i would like to thank you all for following our journey during our years sabbatical. It’s been awesome year. It’s amazing to have so much support as we are so new to the world of Youtube , videos and editing . The good news is we are not quite quite finished our Year Out and have more adventures planned for the New Year . Wishing all of our wonderful subscribers a peaceful, joyful Christmas and a healthy 2025 full of new opportunities and adventures 🎉🎉

Good morning to all our wonderful subscribers . I hope you enjoyed our last video from the beautiful island of Sardinia . A family holiday celebrating our 60th birthdays . We are now heading off to Hong Kong and then Vietnam so for those of you that look forward to our Friday evening video launch we have decided to wait until we are home to ensure we are uploading the best possible videos for you on our adventures in Asia. Hi everyone ,
Andy and I are now in the Dordogne and loving our time here being closer to our Grand daughter . Last week we made spontaneous decision to go on a road trip further south to escape the rain . How lucky are we that we can do this. We explored part of the Canal du Midi which stretches from Toulouse and the Mediterranean Sea. We are excited to launch a short this evening on the top 5 things to do on the Canal du Midi . We would love to get some feedback on this short as we are finding this format a bit harder to work with . Please let us know what you think
