മാർത്തോമ്മാ ശ്ലീഹായാൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നസ്രാണി സഭയുടെ തനിമയിലും പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളിലും വിശ്വാസത്തിലും പൈതൃകത്തിലും ചരിത്രത്തിലും അവബോധമുള്ള തലമുറകളെ വാർത്തെടുക്കുകയെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ സിറോ മലബാർ സഭയിലെ വിവിധ രൂപതാംഗങ്ങളായ യുവജനങ്ങൾ രൂപംകൊടുത്ത റൂഹാ മീഡിയ സഭാ സേവനത്തിന്റെ പത്താം വാർഷികത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് കടക്കുകയാണ്. കടന്നുപോയ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിച്ച നന്മകളെയോർത്ത് നന്ദി പറയുന്നു.

പൗരാണികമായ മാർത്തോമ്മാ സ്ലീവാകൾ കണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലൂടെ യാത്ര ചെയ്ത് "മാർത്തോമ്മാ സ്ലീവാ - ഒരു ചരിത്ര യാത്ര" എന്ന ഡോക്കുമെന്ററി പുറത്തിറക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് 2015 ഡിസംബർ 18 ന് റൂഹാ മീഡിയ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ചു. തുടർന്നുള്ള വർഷങ്ങളിൽ നടത്തിയ സുറിയാനി സംഗീത മത്സരങ്ങളും, പ്രസംഗ, കഥ പറച്ചിൽ മത്സരങ്ങളും വെബ്ബിനാറുകളും ഡോക്യുമെന്ററികളും സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ വിശ്വാസ പരിശീലനത്തിനായി ഫലപ്രദമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഉദാത്ത മാതൃകകളായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.

സുറിയാനി ഭാഷയും സംഗീതവും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ റെക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്ത പൗരസ്ത്യ സുറിയാനി ക്രമത്തിലെ വി. കുർബാന ഗീതങ്ങളും കരോക്കെയും "സോഗിസ" എന്ന പേരിൽ ആൽബമായും സിറോ മലബാർ സഭയുടെ കബറിടക്ക ശുശ്രൂഷാ ഗീതങ്ങൾ സുറിയാനിയിലും മലയാളത്തിലുമായി റെക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്തു "ല് നുഹ്‌റാ" എന്ന പേരിൽ ആൽബമായും ഇക്കാലയളവിൽ പുറത്തിറക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചുവെന്നത് ചാരിതാർഥ്യം നൽകുന്നു. ഇതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ ചെറുതും വലുതുമായ ഒട്ടനവധി സുറിയാനി ഗീതങ്ങളും പാട്ടുകളും റെക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്ത് പുറത്തിറക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. സുറിയാനി പാരമ്പര്യത്തിൽ മെത്രാന്മാരെ സ്വീകരിക്കാനായി പാടുന്ന സ്ലോസാക് ആവൂൻ എന്ന ഗീതത്തിന് നമ്മുടെ സഭയിൽ വലിയ പ്രചാരം ലഭിക്കുവാൻ സോഗീസാ ആൽബം കാരണമായിത്തതീർന്നതിൽ അതിയായ സന്തോഷമുണ്ട്.

നാളിതുവരെയുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും സ്നേഹത്തോടെയും താല്പര്യത്തോടെയും കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന സിറോ മലബാർ സഭയുടെ മേജർ ആർച്ച് ബിഷപ്പ് എമിരിത്തൂസ് അഭി. ആലഞ്ചേരി പിതാവിനെയും മറ്റ് മെത്രാന്മാരെയും വൈദികരെയും അല്മായരെയും നന്ദി പൂർവ്വം ഓർക്കുന്നു. വിശിഷ്യാ റൂഹാ മീഡിയായുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് സ്പോണ്സര്ഷിപ്പിലൂടെ സഹായിച്ച എല്ലാവരെയും, എല്ലാ മത്സരാര്ഥികളെയും, വിഡിയോകൾ കണ്ടും, പാട്ടുകൾ ആസ്വദിച്ചും അവ പങ്കുവെച്ചും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ വലിയ വിജയമാക്കിത്തീർത്ത എല്ലാവരോടുമുള്ള നന്ദിയും കടപ്പാടും അറിയിക്കട്ടെ. നമ്മുടെ സഭയുടെ മഹത്തായ പൈതൃകങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുവാനും പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുവാനും വരും തലമുറകൾക്ക് കൈമാറുവാനുമുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ തുടർന്നും എല്ലാവരുടെയും പ്രാർത്ഥനകളും സഹകരണങ്ങളും അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്

🕊️ Farewell to Rev. Dr. Raju Parakottu: A Champion of the Syriac Language 🕊️

Rooha Media joins the Syriac fraternity in mourning the passing of Rev. Dr. Raju Parakottu, an eminent Syriac scholar, author, and esteemed professor at St. Ephrem's Ecumenical Research Institute, Kottayam.

Among the revered Syriac scholars that the St. Thomas Christian community of India had given birth to, Rev. Dr. Raju Parakottu stood apart for his unparalleled contributions to both East and West Syriac. While many scholars excelled in one tradition, Raju Achan bridged both with ease, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. As a teacher par excellence, he mentored countless students, but his most profound legacy lies in his seminal works: the "Reading Aid" and "Learning Aid" series for both West and East Syriac. These four books in Malayalam were enthusiastically embraced by Syriac language enthusiasts, simplifying complex grammar and making Syriac reading accessible and engaging for all learners.

Even during his personal struggles, he remained committed to teaching and mentoring. His ability to distill the beauty and intricacies of the Syriac language made him an inspiring guide for generations of students and scholars.

As we bid farewell, we take solace in the hope that he now joins the heavenly liturgy, singing the eternal Kandish Kandish Kandishath. His work will continue to inspire generations, strengthening our roots in the rich East Syriac tradition.

Our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, students, and all who were touched by his life and teachings.
