MARY JONES and HER BIBLE.Today we are going to post the video of Mary Jones missionary story craft work of Sundayschool children. Many times we keep the word of God aside to do our own works. But here we can see a challenging missionary story of mary Jones. Mary Loves the Bible only for that reason she used to walk 4km to read the bible. Mary loves the Bible so she has a thought to buy the Bible but she didn't have enough money as she is a poor girl. But the word Poor didn't stop the Mary. She started poultry farm and working in vegetable farm. she stored money for 6 years to buy the bible. She walked for 50 km alone to buy the Bible. She went to pastor Rev. Charles and asked for bible but she faced disappointment that he told he has no bible to sell then she started crying for Bible. As the pastor charles observing Mary's hunger for bible and tears he gave his only bible to Mary. At that time she is 15 years old. Then pastor Charles went to Britain and started to thinking about Mary's hunger for the Bible. As many people didn't have the Bible, so in 1804 he started British and foreign Bible Society and started to provide the Bible to the whole world through BIBLE SOCIETY OF INDIA located in Bangalore. In 1864 Mary died but the Bible she used still we can see in the Cambridge University library. That's the challenging Bible journey of Mary Jones.
