Today, I will explain how to use a ACi 5 in 1 Combination Physiotherapy Machine.
This unit includes TENS, IFT, Muscle Stimulation (MS), Ultrasound Therapy (US), and Deep Heat in one single machine.
This video is very useful for physiotherapists, clinics, and beginners.
🔹 Machine Overview
This is a Microcontroller Based 5-in-1 Combo Therapy Unit.
It has:
Digital display panels
Mode selection buttons
Intensity control knobs
Output ports for electrodes and ultrasound probe
Always make sure the machine is switched OFF before connecting any accessories.
🔹 Therapy Modes Explanation & Usage
1️⃣ TENS Therapy (Pain Relief)
Used for:
Acute and chronic pain
Back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain
How to use:
Connect electrode pads to TENS output
Place pads on painful area
Select TENS mode
Set time, frequency, and intensity
Increase intensity slowly as per patient comfort
2️⃣ IFT Therapy (Deep Pain & Muscle Relaxation)
Used for:
Sciatica
Cervical and lumbar pain
Muscle spasm
How to use:
Use four electrodes in criss-cross pattern
Select IFT mode
Adjust carrier frequency and intensity
Treatment time usually 10–15 minutes
3️⃣ MS Therapy (Muscle Stimulation)
Used for:
Muscle strengthening
Muscle re-education
Post-injury recovery
How to use:
Place electrodes on muscle belly
Select MS mode
Adjust contraction and relaxation time
Increase intensity until visible muscle contraction
4️⃣ Ultrasound Therapy (US)
Used for:
Soft tissue injuries
Tendinitis, ligament injury
Joint stiffness
How to use:
Apply ultrasound gel on treatment area
Select continuous or pulsed mode
Move probe slowly in circular motion
Never keep probe at one place
5️⃣ Deep Heat Therapy
Used for:
Chronic pain
Muscle stiffness
Joint tightness
How to use:
Connect deep heat electrodes
Place pads on affected area
Select deep heat mode
Adjust intensity gradually
