Northern Perspective is an independent Canadian media channel offering fact-based commentary on the policies, politics, and people shaping our country.
Our mission is twofold:
To hold political leaders accountable, particularly when legislation harms everyday Canadians.
To educate Canadians on how their government actually works—so they can make informed decisions and engage meaningfully in civic life.
While many of our views lean conservative, our goal is to promote truth, transparency, and responsible leadership—regardless of political affiliation.
Topics we regularly cover include:
Canadian elections and political leadership
Foreign interference and national security
Public safety, justice, and civil liberties
The economic and social impact of federal legislation
Civic education and democratic literacy
We publish new videos almost daily, with livestreams every Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. ET.

As we begin 2026, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has spent time with us over the past year. Whether you watched quietly, shared our work, sent a note, or joined the conversation, your support has meant more to us than we can easily put into words. This community exists because of your curiosity, your thoughtfulness, and your care for getting things right.
2025 was a year of learning for us. We learned more about the issues we cover, about the responsibility that comes with this work, and about the value of taking the time to be careful and fair. We also learned how fortunate we are to have an audience that values substance, patience, and good faith discussion.
Looking ahead to 2026, we feel genuinely hopeful. There is so much worth paying attention to, so many important conversations still to be had, and a lot to be optimistic about when people stay engaged and informed. We’re grateful to be on this path with you. From our family to yours, we wish you a happy, healthy, and hopeful New Year.

As Christmas approaches, we are going to take a little time away from the cameras to be with family and recharge. There will be no livestream on December 21.
