Last night, I was remembering how good God has been to me. I haven’t been perfect, but He has always been faithful. I’m still standing — not because of my strength, my decisions, or my courage, but because of His mercy and eternal love.
As the Bible says:
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” — 2 Corinthians 4:7
Let’s not forget that if we’re still standing, it’s because of God.
Family, let’s pray for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria who are suffering for the Gospel. In 2024, over 3,100 Christians were killed and 2,830 kidnapped, and in the first half of 2025, deaths rose to over 7,000. Jesus said: “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.” (Matthew 24:9). We are blessed to worship freely now, but let us be ready, like them, to give everything for Christ. “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25). May their courage inspire us to stand firm and unashamed of the Gospel.
