This is my first Sims 4 Machinima…short film…story…? Regardless, I spent 6 months on this project from idea, to script, to character creation, wardrobe, self-built sets, song lists, and hours of time in editing. This story was birthed from my own personal heartache. While the story is not based on my life entirely, I feel that the themes of transformation and change were quite evident and necessary in that chapter of my life and I wanted to apply that for my characters as well. "Under the Mirrorball" explores themes of hard yet necessary change, growth, sacrifice, and love.
