Eid al-Fitr is a time of spiritual renewal, gratitude, and joyous celebration. It serves as a reminder of the importance of fasting, self-discipline, and compassion towards others, while also providing an opportunity for Muslims to express their faith and unity as a community.
Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said:
“Whenever you sight the new moon (of the month of Ramadan) observe fast and when you sight it (the new moon of Shawwal) break it, and if the sky is cloudy for you, then observe
fast for thirty days.”

✨Takbir for Eid:
“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.”
“Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is
no god but Allah.”
✨ Sunnah acts during `Eid:
- reciting Takbir during the night of `Eid
- eating an odd number of dates before leaving for the `Eid prayer
- wearing your best clothes
- doing Ghusl for the `Eid prayer
- offering the `Eid prayer
- paying Zakat Al-Fitr
- greeting and embracing one another
May Allah allow us to utilise the remaining
moments of this blessed month to engage in that which pleases Him, may He accept our siyăm, qiyãm & a’mãl & may He allow us to witness many more Ramadans in good health. Amin 🤲🏻
