TRAINING TIP: What motivates your dog can be used as pay. Their motivation could be toys, treats, ear scritches, praise, playing chase, or any positive interaction with you. If you know what it is and you have what motivates your dog, they will want to work with you.

TRAINING TIP: When your dog makes a calm choice, such as laying down, resting or sleeping, it's a great time to quietly reward them for it. Doing so reinforces that calm choices are GREAT choices.

Kittens have so much to learn! Whether you're a foster parent, shelter care staff or an adopter, here are a few things you can work on to help your kitten feel more comfortable with the world around them.
