Today we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of our 1986 album ‘Crash’ by announcing an all-analogue reissue as part of the Fontana Thousand Club series.
The album has been freshly cut from the original half inch master tapes, giving this pressing a whole new layer of warmth and excitement. Or at least that’s what everyone who has heard it so far tells us.
These premium records are foil numbered from 1-1000.
Back in 2012, a few magazines said some kind things about the 30th anniversary edition of Dare. Thank you Clash, Mojo and Q! Fourteen years later, we are approaching the album’s 45th birthday, which is frankly becoming a little difficult to believe. More on that next month.

Some photographs from the Generations tour in 2024.
It seems much more recent than two years ago, but apparently that is how time works.

One from the archive that seemed too good to leave sitting in a folder.
This was taken in 2008, but does anyone know where?

Australia and New Zealand, we will be seeing you in January and February, which feels reassuringly close and alarmingly far away at the same time.
Full dates and ticket links can be found at thehumanleague.co.uk
We hope to see lots of you there.

On this day in 1990 we released 'Romantic?' - our sixth studio album.
It included Heart Like a Wheel, Soundtrack to a Generation and, just to keep everyone on their toes, a question mark in the title.
Do you have a favourite track from it?

Earlier this year Pollstar put us on the cover of their magazine and said some very kind things about us.
Which was nice.

A few more photographs from Boston, taken towards the end of our recent North American tour.
By that point we had travelled several thousand miles, played rather a lot of shows and become surprisingly good at remembering which city we were in.
Thank you again to everyone who came along.

We were looking through some old photographs recently and found ourselves thinking about 1981.
More on that soon…
