Hello everyone! I’m Julie Khuu, certified interior designer, business owner, and on-camera designer for TV/ digital media. I design custom homes for a living, but realize that not everyone can afford that luxury. I want to prove that high design does not have to cost a fortune and show you how to bring that luxurious look home, no matter what your budget or style.
Over 18 years in the industry, 15 of which I've owned my own business and there is one thing I know for sure: The power of interior design can change your life. Design with heart, wake up feeling inspired every day 💛

So long summer ☀️ It’s been a season of many changes and challenging conclusions.
Back in June, I took a hiatus on YouTube to focus on my family and my wellness. I let go of my team so I could rest and recharge. It wasn’t an easy decision, but one I knew I needed to make if I was in it for the long haul. I realized that after 5.5 years of creating long form content nonstop, I forgot what my ultimate mission was. I was churning out content to support my growing audience, but I was neglecting myself, my mental health, and my future growth as a designer and creator.
This time “off” didn’t feel like much of a break at all.
I posted less, but my mind was constantly overwhelmed with a checklist of to-dos as a Mom + wife first, not to mention a designer for my family when we’ve been living in half-finished projects all year long.
Summer might be over soon, but my favorite season is ahead. Expect more fall home content 🍁🍂 before and after makeovers 🏡 and I’ll finally share how I feng shui’d my own home because I realize what I want to see more of is authenticity and application.
Less fluff. Less stuff. More family-focused content for all the young families out there struggling to create inspired spaces with a limited budget while you’re in transition.
I look back at our summer and so happy I took the time off. I really needed this. Thank you for sticking around everyone, love you guys 🫶🏻

Happy July everyone! 😎 We are officially on a summer break! I have been posting weekly design videos since I started my channel in January of 2019. Fast forward 5 1/2 years later, I can't believe how much content I've created for our YouTube community and how much I still want to share. This hiatus has been a long time coming and I'm committing to coming back refreshed and energized for a new season of focused design content including... MY HOME REMODEL!!! I've been saving up for this for years and just needed the time and bandwidth to tackle such a personal project.
I will be posting regular shorts (for now) and returning with long-form content once this renovation is under way.
