For everyone else: It's been a while, huh?
I'll get the most pressing matter out of the way: I am not returning to uploading on this channel.
For the past 2 years (has it really been that long?) I've used this YT Channel as my primary account... as a viewer, not a creator.
I have thought multiple times about making a few more videos. Theoretically, I could upload here indefinitely. I have the programming knowledge to completely automate every single upload for every single song without any user intervention. But that would feel soulless to me.
What was fun about the content (for me) was I trained the model myself; it was, as best I could tell, the best one out there -- even my subsequent attempts at training new models did not sound as good.
It was a personal project and something that gave me a reason to go online. This is not something I felt the need to discuss at the time, but I took pride in knowing that I was putting in quite a bit more effort than a standard AI music slop channel.
For every single video, I did the following:
-I used a Hi-Fi (sometimes studio quality) version of the song -I used multiple techniques for splitting out the music -I processed and mixed the vocals myself -- replicating the reverb and echo of the original
For every video I uploaded, I created about 4-5 which did not meet a standard I set for myself and were trashed.
Even though I was merely remixing an existing work, it felt like I was creating something new. If I were to simply upload via an automated mechanism it would feel worthless to me.
This all started from me making a few funny parody songs on the Fediverse when I was at a very low point in my life. People there seemed to like it, and people here EVEN MORE so, I can't express how much joy that brought me!
To be name-dropped and recognized by Jim, to have my videos played on his channel, and for Jade to comment on my video! It's extremely surreal and not something I will ever forget. But I've moved on to other projects (I still upload on a new channel!) and I hope you all will forgive me for that.

This channel will not be deleted; judging by my analytics some of you still stop by -- ESPECIALLY for the Christmas songs -- I want to keep it around so you guys can still enjoy that.
I have an early Christmas present: An entire album of AI Jim! :D
I have unlisted some of the older Jim songs contained in this album, although they're still up and you can find them in the music playlist! The reason for this was I wanted to give the songs a more cohesive feel, so I have re-uploaded them with the album art and created a playlist for them!
The album has 5 new Jim songs and a cameo from Pippa Pipkin, so give it a listen!
Sorry if any changes made are inconvenient; I was originally just going to upload the album as a single video, but it was blocked worldwide, so I had to upload them individually... :(
