At 23, my life as a world-class athlete was stripped away overnight, replaced by the brutal reality of nursing my husband through terminal cancer. I survived the absolute extremes: rape in L.A., a 7-year stalking nightmare, life as a war target, and domestic violence. When the system failed, I fought over 10 legal battles alone. I broke heavy nicotine and sleeping-pill addictions overnight through mental command and rebuilt my life across 94 moves in 10 countries.
