RIP to a legend! Sabu, who I first saw wrestle live against Tony Kozina in 2001. I saw his last match just a few weeks ago for GCW, and also met him for the first time that same afternoon. He signed my WWE encyclopedia, I had him date it as it was the day of his last match... I said 'Please don't die' and he said 'Too late'. He did not die that night, thankfully. We had him for a few more weeks, anyway.

Feb 28th was the release of My Dead Friend Zoe on 780 screens across the country! From the script to the big screen, it's been an awesome experience being apart of this movie. Here are some pics from the premiere we attended at SXSW in 2024, as well as the after party with cast and crew.

The movie won the narrative spotlight award at SXSW, and has so far garnered 95% on Rotten Tomatoes & a 91% audience award. This is not your typical theater movie... so expectations are reserved, we're hoping for good word of mouth to keep this in theaters for as long as possible, but a good opening week is important to making that happen. 2 million is a lofty goal, we have seen a few estimates above this amount but we shall see how accurate those numbers are. The movie is primarily filmed in Oregon except for Morgan Freeman's parts because he's Morgan Freeman and we go where he is. See it if you can.

Our next movie project is Fade To Black starring Karan Soni, not a 1980 remake but an original screenplay. It is currently in post-production, I have some cool set pictures to share when I am able.

My wife and I, and Taylor Swift's boyfriend, and some other people, were involved with this movie. We were at the premiere at SXSW where it won the audience award for Best Narrative. Do you want to see the award? I'll post a picture of it. It might be the most random thing I own. Obviously when you are financially invested in something... especially something as volatile as a movie... you really don't know what you're getting until you see it on the screen. It was reassuring it got invited to film festivals... but you never know, until you finally see it. Well, we saw it, and it was great. With a great cast, including legends like Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris, we feel we got involved with something meaningful and important, and damned entertaining. The trailer was released today, please watch and like the video on as many platforms as you can (it is on all of them)... and then go see it in theaters on Feb 28th or thereabouts, we'd appreciate it. This is our first experience being on the inside of a project like this... and I will make a video detailing my experiences after the movie is released.
