Brock Hewitt is the founder of Stories in Sound Studios based near Toronto, Ontario. He is currently working out of Canada after interning at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions, which was an integral part of his development as an aspiring soundtrack composer in the early years. Brock focuses on creating powerful music that seeks to replicate the depths and intimacies of human stories and emotions. Each composition is hope-filled, story-driven and intentionally crafted. Some compositions are rooted in simplicity, harnessing raw, vulnerable beauty. Contrast that with impactful neoclassical, cinematic, and ambient works at the polar end of the Stories in Sound musical repertoire.

This month’s release is called "The Good Fight" -- a cinematic collaboration with my friend Matthew C. Reynolds for The David Roy Collective soundtrack catalogue.
I found myself reflecting on the journey of being a musician and pursuing a creative life, and how, in many ways, it really has been a good fight.
Not because every struggle is automatically good, and certainly not because we should fight simply for the sake of fighting.
Rather, when you feel called to pursue something good—something worthwhile, something you believe God has equipped you for—there is something meaningful about continuing onward even when the road proves very difficult.
