The sound of crackling rocks and the whir of the Diesel engine sputtering fills the air as the white dunes pass by, just like the clouds above.

Aaryen sighs as he wistfully looks into the blue-tinted expanse.

Just then, the maiden walks up behind him. He feels the vibration with every little step on the thin metal.

“Hey kid. Come to watch?

Aaryen feels two small hands plop onto his back, summarily shoving him off the moving 2-story vehicle onto the ground.

“AAASGGHHHHHH-“

Aaryen looks back up at her, frustratedly. “WHAT WAS THAT FOR????”

The maiden pauses, and thinks for a moment with her signature blank expression.

🤷‍♀️

“No voragon soup tonight. Dry bread for you!”

The maiden’s expression sours, and she kicks a nearby metal bar before heading back inside the landcruiser.
