Just wanted to let you guys know that I didn’t get paid a penny to be in Dubai or Saudi Arabia. Many people have expressed disappointment, assuming I received a paycheck for saying positive things about the Middle East — like it’s a proven fact — but that simply didn’t happen. 😶 Just wanted to clarify that there was no transaction. 🫡
I also want to say that while I understand where some of these comments are coming from, I don’t want the geopolitical events of my destinations to affect how I describe my personal experiences. Most of the people I meet during my travels are well-intentioned, innocent individuals who have nothing to do with the terrible events you may see online, and I’ll continue to describe my experiences exactly how I’ve experienced them.
