Happy Halloween! In the 90s I carved a turnip. I don't know why a turnip, but I think my obsession with pumpkins was birthed from a refusal to ever carve a turnip again.
Today, the 32nd anniversary of the Cheers finale, the world lost George Wendt. It doesn't feel real. However, it's beautiful to see my feed so full of many lovely photos of Wendt, people sharing their personal stories of times spent working with him.
Although known best for his portrayal of "NORM!" Peterson, he had an extensive career with many great roles across a wide range of genres.
Still, none will make me smile as much as this photo of Norm and some kittens.
My thoughts are with his family. ❤️Cheers for everything. 🍻
