The Centre for Environment and Development Studies, CEMUS, is a unique, student-initiated, transdisciplinary centre at Uppsala University, with the explicit ambition to contribute to a better world.
CEMUS offers a wide range of undergraduate and master's level sustainability courses that span traditional disciplines, challenging students to tackle complex global issues like climate change and social justice.
CEMUS is also an international connection point and Uppsala meeting place where students, researchers, and the public can come together for engaging and meaningful activities. We host open events, seminar series, conferences, art projects, and much more.
