If anyone is wondering where the Die In a Fire Squidward cover has went, I have decided to permanently private the video. I made this video around 2 years ago when RVC technology was new, and I was just screwing around with it and decided to upload my result with some art I made. Since then, it is my largest video on the channel, and as a creative it upsets me that something I didn't fully make is that has came to that result.
People have subscribed to me for something I didn't fully make, and that urks me. Because I know the feeling all too well.
I am against using generative AI in works, and have been for a long time. Over the past two years, the effects of it have taken over industries and put people out of jobs. At the time I was more lenient on the RVC side of the technology because it reminded me of programs such as vocaloid (using pre existing models to transcribe text) and I was just having fun, what's the harm in that? There is harm, to the people who created and voiced the original media in the first place. I do not want to be portrayed as someone who supports that, I just didn't know what to do with this video or know how to explain it.
There are more creative things that we can do than take others work as our own. There are works of my very own, and I suggest you watch some of the stuff my friends and I have been making. It will always be more special to me than the couple million views that didn't feel deserved.
