Hi everyone! Thank you for your generous support in helping our new friends Tom & Barbara finally get out of the Walmart parking lot after being stranded for over 3 months in this blistering heat!

July 24 Update:
We managed to find a place that would be able to fix their RV. It wasn't easy, we called many places around Raleigh and the RV service places didn't do major engine work, and the truck service places wouldn't work on RVs. But we found a truck service place about 25 miles away and they agreed to take a look at it.

On Tuesday morning, we had it towed up to that location. Thank you so much to S&S Towing for donating this service! Today they called with an estimate, $1390 for the flywheel, and it also needs a new starter. They didn't have a price for the starter yet, but i'm sure it will be a few hundred dollars. Meanwhile, Tom & Barbara are staying at a $60/night hotel that is pet friendly. They are adapting well but we have had to take them for groceries and supplies. Even though the hotel had a mini kitchen and fridge, they did not provide any cookware, dishes, or silverware, so we made a run to Walmart and got some disposable supplies.

The RV should be fixed by Monday, and so with the cost of the repair and hotel, we are running a few hundred dollars short. If you would please consider donating a bit more, or if you know of someone to that would be interested in helping this couple get onto their destination, please share this request! We are so close to getting them back on the road again!

Sadly we lost our poor Riley after 17 years.. it is difficult to lose such a loyal family member. We are working on a tribute video to try to capture the great adventures that she had with us.
