Episode 2 of Road to Rann Series is LIVE 🎬🤘Visiting the Ambaji Temple was a really beautiful experience for me. The moment I reached there, all the fatigue from the journey just faded away. I was fortunate to find a very comfortable hotel to stay in, and right next to it there was a great restaurant. What really stood out was the waiter. He served the food with complete honesty and, more importantly, with a genuine smile. Small things like that stay with you when you travel.
The darshan at the temple was smooth and hassle free. There were no major issues, and everything moved in an orderly way. One thing I did notice inside the temple premises was a slight sense of money mindedness, where people commented even on small offerings. Personally, I believe offerings should come purely from devotion, whatever one feels comfortable giving. That said, if you set aside this aspect and also ignore the shops inside the temple complex, the overall experience remains very positive.
Outside the temple, the local people were extremely warm and welcoming. The shops around the temple and the nearby market had genuinely good items at reasonable prices. We spent some time shopping there and found both the products and the rates quite satisfying. The vendors were polite, helpful, and did not try to overcharge.
Overall, #Ambaji gave me a very positive feeling. From the temple visit to the stay, the food, and the people, everything came together nicely. I was there for less than twenty four hours, but even in that short time, the place left a lasting impression on me. That was my experience of Ambaji, calm, comforting, and definitely worth the visit.
