The Igbo are geographically mobile, economically enterprising and educationally ambitious.Half of Abuja is owned by Ndigbo. Half of the population of Lagos is largely made up of Ndigbo. -------- Bola Ahmed Tinubu
On Thursday, December 4, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu praised the Igbo as one of the strongest pillars of Nigeria’s progress, describing them as the greatest stakeholders in the country’s development.
His message, delivered by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Imo Economic Stakeholders Summit in Owerri, celebrated the Igbo spirit of enterprise, innovation, and national presence.
Tinubu’s remarks were emphatic: “The Igbo are geographically mobile, economically enterprising and educationally ambitious. I dare say that Ndigbo are the greatest stakeholders in the Nigerian project. Half of Abuja is owned by Ndigbo. Half of the population of Lagos is largely made up of Ndigbo. There is hardly any place in this country you will not see Ndigbo. If you don’t see them, you better run away from that place.”
He stressed that Nigeria is stronger with the Igbo fully included in the national agenda, noting that the Federal Government is committed to supporting Imo State and the wider Southeast in expanding investment opportunities.
Tinubu added that modern global growth is now driven by technology and innovation, not just natural resources, urging states to push towards their competitive advantages.
According to him, “Nation’s rise when every part discovers its promise, lights up its strength and takes up its responsibilities.”
He highlighted Imo State as a location already showing strong potential through developing digital infrastructure and expanding opportunities in ICT and enterprise.
Governor Hope Uzodimma, while welcoming participants, said Imo is nearing its 50-year milestone but still struggles with underdevelopment despite producing some of Nigeria’s most successful entrepreneurs and entertainers.
He blamed past failures on decades of weak infrastructure, poor power supply, and a faulty land administration system.
Uzodimma explained that his administration chose to “go back to basics” by focusing on creating an enabling environment for investors.
He noted that nearly six years in office, the state has constructed over 120 strategic roads and bridges connecting all 27 LGAs, rural communities, and neighbouring states.

They used the minorities of the North to slaughter millions of Igbos, today they have turned against the minorities of the North.
Today, they are in a race to wipe out the minorities of the North.
They are currently using the Southwest against the Igbos, as sure as day follows night they will turn against the Southwest when it is convenient for them.
They are users.
Only the wise will understand.

Breaking News: “Wike Breaks National Silence: Nnamdi Kanu Rejected ₦500bn Cash Offer and Port Harcourt Oil Blocks, Looked Tinubu in the Eyes and Declared ‘It Is Biafra or Death — I Cannot Be Bought’”
According to Wike, he personally took President Tinubu to meet Nnamdi Kanu during one of the behind-closed-doors negotiations. He claimed Kanu was offered ₦500 billion and a major stake in Port Harcourt oil assets—an offer designed to secure peace and end the standoff.
But Kanu, according to Wike, rejected everything.
“They placed money, power, and oil on the table. He pushed it aside. He told them clearly: ‘I want Biafra… or nothing. If it costs me my life, so be it.’” — Wike stated.
Wike added that no amount of pressure or negotiation changed Kanu’s stance.
“You can’t intimidate him, you can’t buy him. That man is ready to die for what he believes. That’s why he is still where he is,” Wike concluded.

Breaking News: “As my life’s journey comes close to the end, I want Nigerians and the whole world to understand something that will never change.”
“Until Igbo people are given a real chance to lead Nigeria, this country will remain a Third-World nation and will not grow.”
He explained further:
“Fulani and Yoruba act like they love each other, but they do not. What joins them together is their dislike for Igbo people. Without that, they are not friends.”
“An Igbo person can survive without Nigeria, but Nigeria cannot survive without the Igbo people.”
“The Nigerian government keeps making laws that make life hard for Igbo people. They don’t care if other Nigerians suffer, as long as the Igbo are stopped from moving forward.”
Then he gave a warning:
“If the government ever tries to fight the Igbo people again, it will be the biggest mistake they will ever make. Nothing in Nigeria will survive.”
