R.E.I.P. Lennie D Ice
To my dear friend and legendary music producer, hearing of your passing is deeply saddening. Though it's tough to accept you are gone, I am immensely proud of the impact you made with your music.
Lennie was more than just a producer; as a stand-up guy and seasoned studio engineer, he was dedicated to teaching the truth about the evolution of this movement.
He was also one of the few people with whom I could still discuss retro music gear and production techniques on a foundational level—techniques that paved the way and shaped the UK Hardcore and Jungle rave scene.
It's a sad time, but also a moment of pride to see your personal tributes and Lennie's achievements highlighted in the MSN and The Guardian online. Your legacy is now undeniable, my friend.
