My newest video just posted tonight on my ride on the C&O Canal starting at the Monocacy Aqueduct and ending at the Catoctin Creek Aqueduct. I’ve been taking day trips to the C&O and working my way up from DC to Cumberland. This is my 3rd day trip installment. It wasn’t a very long ride but, like all the others, it had a lot of really interesting and fun things to see. I also rode about 5 miles towards WhitesFerry to see a few things and had a couple cool surprises on that little leg of the ride. Stick around at the end to see some of that! These rides are so good for my mental health and spirit. I find that the trail calms and relaxes me even with all of its bumps and detours. I guess getting away from normal life for a day and delving into the raw nature and ruggedness of this trail has a cleansing effect on my being. I hope that some of this shows in the videos and helps you all too. Keep riding and remember to follow your joy wherever it takes you.
