When i was 14 years old i commented some lyrics i wrote on a beat here on YouTube. Some people in the replies told me to make a video, so I did. I then sat in my dad’s car for months free-styling, and posting videos to this platform to build a following. I’m just a kid from YouTube. So to have my first headline show ever and have it look like this is mind-blowing to me.
This is where it all started, so I just wanted to say thank you <3 we came a long way from the backseat.
Ever since i was a little kid sitting in the pews at church, live music has moved me. I've dreamt of creating set lists and putting on shows that could move people in that same way my whole life. Now I have that opportunity during MY FIRST HEADLINE SHOW EVERRR❗️
If you come to this show I promise I will make it worth it for you. I can't wait to meet all of you who make it ❤️
I have more songs ready for next year than I’ve ever released before, and I’m more excited about them anything I’ve put out. If you’d like to be the first to hear about what I’m working on, text me :)
Last year I traveled outside of the US for the first time, and when I came back home I found out one of my family members died, and 2 more were hospitalized while I was gone. The following month I traveled again and a completely different one of my family members died while I was gone. I was quiet about these events for the most part, but inside they tore me apart. I know it doesn’t make sense, but it felt like the universe wouldn’t allow me to search for relief without something tragic happening to the people around me… so I ran from peace for a while. Our minds are strange places and if we aren’t taking care of them, they’ll run rampant. I’m grateful for the people around me who have helped me heal over the past few months. Without my friends, family, and music I don’t know where I’d be right now. I’m grateful to be in a headspace again where I can allow myself to at least try and be okay, but it was definitely a journey getting here. I say all that to say, please take care of yourself and check in on your friends. I’m glad you’re here. Happy World Mental Health Day 🌎💚
I wrote this song about falling in love for the first time, and dealing with all the exciting (but sometimes scary) emotions that come with that. The video itself is a bittersweet love story that follows the rise and fall of this first love.
Love u all 🖤 Can't wait for you all to see this video on Thursday at 9pm PST!
