Taking a little break from the videos while I finish up the last 8 commissions. That means the videos are taking a bit of a back seat for now, but they’ll be back soon.
In the meantime, here are a few photos of some older builds: the Pagani Huayra, Huayra BC, the newly finished Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, and the SLS AMG Black Series.
Back by popular demand, some of my earlier designs will be making a return to the shop. They’ve been unavailable for a while, so it felt like the right time to bring a few of them back.
The final version is here. The updated sticker sheets are in with the white balance corrected and an improved rear wing sticker. After fixing a few small details, including a typo, a couple of missing 3D printed parts, and the sticker colors, this is the version I’m proud to call finished.
This is my take on what the 992 GT3 RS could look like if I were designing it for LEGO with no limitations.
Porsche is one of the hardest brands to recreate in bricks. The real car relies on smooth, flowing curves, while LEGO is naturally blocky. Capturing those proportions and body lines was the biggest challenge of this project, and I think that’s what makes the final result so satisfying.
This has become one of my favorite models I’ve ever designed. I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out, and I can’t wait to see people building it.
That means it’s printing time! The custom parts are being manufactured, the final sticker sheets have been ordered, the parts lists are finished, and brick sourcing is being prepped.
Thank you all for your patience and support throughout this project. We’re almost there! I also have a little extra for everyone who pre-ordered, so hopefully it feels a bit like Christmas when your package arrives.
This is my LEGO rendition of what is probably one of the most requested cars I’ve ever built. So many of you asked for it that I decided to make it this year’s community design, the one model each year that you get to choose.
This project was both challenging and incredibly fun. I started the first prototype in red, but after the community vote, white came out on top. In the end, I couldn’t choose, so I built both.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited about one of my own models. Everything just came together. I went with a 15-stud-wide front and a 16-stud-wide rear to capture the real car’s proportions as closely as possible. It wasn’t an easy shape to get right since the sides look deceptively straight, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. It might even be my best design so far.
The model is built from 1,267 genuine LEGO parts, combined with a few of my own engineered custom parts, including the wheels, to add even more realism.
If you look closely, you’ll notice the stickers on the white version are slightly too bright. That will be corrected before release. There’s also one small mistake hidden in the sticker sheet. Can you spot it? 🤔
A huge thank you to everyone who pre-ordered this design. The support, enthusiasm, and trust you continue to show means more than you know.
The model releases on the 24th and, unlike previous releases, it will remain available permanently. I’m also working on an optional wheel pack, as shown in the last slide.
I made the red version, changed the last weird colors out from the prototype that you can see In the last slide. This build has been so fun. I’ll get some quality pics soon!
I wanted to take this moment to thank everyone that’s supporting the channel! It’s great to see everyone loving the designs and leaving their opinions. Extra thanks to all people who already placed a pre order on this. Makes me happy to see! I’ll be doing instructions on this soon and have them tested. Then the product is ready for you guys.
These are renders of the final design while I wait on the last bricks from Bricklink to finish the real model. The physical build reveal is coming this week.
This is a fully custom R35, built from scratch. The last photo is the Signature version: white with a custom red trim and an extra set of Nismo wheels.
How many will exist:
10 complete kits of the standard R35 5 Signature kits 20 custom parts and instructions kits
That is it. Once they are gone, they are gone. The last drop sold out in 24 hours, and the Signature went in 6 minutes.
Drop #007 goes live May 29. Waitlist members get 24 hour early access. Check my website!
Standard blue or white Signature? Let me know below.
