Freedom is not found in having no one
it is found in needing no one to complete your soul
Those who never forged a bond may call solitude freedom
for their hearts know not the weight of an empty place.
But loneliness belongs to those who once had someone
someone whose voice became familiar
whose presence became a quiet home
When such a person leaves, silence no longer feels peaceful
it becomes a reminder of what was lost
Yet a man must not spend his life kneeling before the past
Let him endure the silence
Let him mourn what cannot return
Then let him rise not with hatred, nor with revenge,
but with a heart strong enough to walk forward without bitterness.
For what is true strength?
Not conquering another
but conquering the weakness within oneself
And when the heart finally stops asking,
Why did they leave?
and begins whispering
"I can walk alone."
Loneliness becomes solitude
Solitude becomes peace
Peace becomes strength
And strength when it no longer needs to prove itself
becomes freedom
The world may take away the people you love,
but it cannot take away the person you choose to become
