Between Worlds 🪶

I've had this feeling from the start,
as if engraved upon my heart.

Empty lungs, empty soul,
I remember a past, when I was whole.

The cars drive on, the birds still roam,
but for me, there is no home.

From east to west, no place to rest.
From north to south, I opened up my mouth,
against injustice, and evil behavior,
only to learn, that there's no savior.

So save yourself, if you can, because no man, can save another man.
