We are Rob and Clare and we came to West Cork for the coastline: hidden coves, empty beaches, scattered islands, and the ever-changing Atlantic. Our aim has always been simple — to wander. To explore slowly, follow the weather, read the tides, and spend as much time on the water as possible, freediving and spearfishing along the way.
After a few years grounded while restoring an old farmhouse in West Cork, we’re back where we belong — exploring.
This channel follows our return to exploration — boating the coast, island hopping, slipping beneath the surface, and discovering the quieter corners of West Cork. It’s about patience over pace, curiosity over comfort, and journeys shaped by tides rather than timetables.

You may have noticed a different "feel" to the patreon and youtube pages. As our journey moves from renovation to adventure we want to update our 'brand' (god that sounds so douchy!!) to reflect that.
But its not just a 're-brand' we have LITERALLY reimagined the way we film and edit for a far more cinematic experience. To be honest, we have selected some of the best youtubers over xmas and watched hundreds of their videos and tried to break down what they were doing right that we were lacking.

Hi All, no videos this week I'm afraid. Robs busy building, I'm busy in the garden and we are both flat out busy with the Coop!! We also hope to try and wrangle out a little bit of summer to spend with family so we are going to take a few weeks off and be back in September. Hi all, we're coming up to 6 months running two channels and unfortunately rather than saving us time and bringing you more focused content it seems to have made more work for ourselves and leaving a few of you a bit confused about it all.
We are going to bring a few changes to our channel over the coming months and we will be asking some polls to help us decide on a good direction, but in the meantime have you any thoughts on our two channel experiment, the content we are producing or any improvements you would like to see as we wrap up current projects and move on to next exciting phase!!

Hey wonderful friends. Unfortunately there will be no video today. Rob has been quite sick this week and progress has run to a standstill. That also means that we are falling behind schedule and unfortunately that means we have quite a bit of catchup to do. To help with that we are going to pause editing and releasing videos on this channel. We will still record them but will edit and release them in a few months, either at a interval or at completion. If you want to catch up with some of our non renovation antics we still hope to release some lighter content on our second channel "Irish Country Life" we have walks, cooking, ducks and gardening all planned for upcoming videos so head on over and subscribe, next video there is tomorrow evening.
