The prosperity Gospel should be rejected and driven out of the church as a cancer. This is another Gospel which puts money at the main focus on the spiritual life and not Jesus Christ. At the same time i do believe that Jesus wants his children to prosper. Biblical prosperity means having more then you need to be in a position to bless other people. We are blessed by God to be a blessing. This does not mean that everyone is going to get rich and be a millionaire. Many people get passive aggressive on this subject. God doesn't want his children to be in poverty either. Also in this life we will face many trails, tribulations, grief, pan and loss. This is a normal part of the Christian life we must come to terms with or our faith will become shipwrecked. God's promise to us is that he will never leave on forsake us and he will be with us when we face troubles.

Less than 2/3 of evangelicals in the US are Caucasian, and less than 10% of evangelicals in the world are American. Remember the world context of evangelicalism. Christianity is growing fastest in South America and Africa. Underground churches are thriving in China and the Middle East. The days of White Western Christians is over this woman hasn't realized yet. I live in Queens NYC which is the most ethnically diverse region on the planet. And i love it. I love interacting with all sorts of skin colors and nationalities. Heaven is going to be very diverse. We will all worship as one!
