We were deeply honoured to receive an honorary degree from the University of Glasgow yesterday, as the University celebrates its 575th anniversary.
It is the first time in the Universityâs history that an honorary degree has been conferred on a group, with James Prime, Graeme Kelling and former member Ewen Vernal also recognised during the ceremony.

Captured on a special night at Edinburghâs Usher Hall in March 2025, the album features 25 songs spanning our career, alongside live versions of tracks from The Great Western Road.
Rehearsals are underway as we get ready to hit the road again. First stop is Westonbirt Arboretum on Thursday and we canât wait to see you all for a brilliant run of summer shows. đ

The Piece Hall show on 9 July has now sold out, with the last few tickets remaining for Wednesday 8 July. Edinburgh Castle and Lincoln Castle have also sold out. đ
Weâll be joined by the brilliant Lightning Seeds at all dates, with the exception of Edinburgh, where support will come from Admiral Fallow.

âWhatâs Winningâ, written and performed by Ricky for Black Diamonds and the Blue Brazil - Gary McNairâs brand-new stage adaptation of Ron Fergusonâs beloved book.
âWhatâs Winning is the essence of the themes behind Ron Fergusonâs brilliant book, Black Diamonds and The Blue Brazil. I have loved this book since it first appeared thirty-three years ago. The song, like the book, asks the question about the values we carry with us, what we keep and what we leave behind. Itâs part of a new adaptation which opens at The Royal Lyceum Theatre from 8 May. Iâll be on stage singing this and other songs.â Ricky x
