A customer modified the front of his 2006 Jetta GLI to resemble that of a Golf 6 GTI and installed Vland MK6 headlights. Honestly, it's a fantastic idea.
They came out really good on my car, happy with the results , took about 2.5 hours to install had to remove rear panels of the interior, but I definitely recommend.

Had a little difficulty with the high/low beams but was easily fixed by swapping the 2 wires on the external box. Could have been my user error to begin with [just a determined female with no experience in this]. Either way all works fine and dandy. Guess I’ll report back if $hit catches fire. Short story long- I love the new look it gives the front end. Feels a bit more modern which is great bc I’m keeping it forever."
