Love to make all types of bricklaying videos and unique ideas
I started making bricklaying tutorial videos in my back garden, vlog style videos, now I have my own academy and i have the pleasure of working with my dad.
I love to think outside the box and also express myself through art and design,
Family lad and i do a bit of acting and presenting, trying my best to get the best out of life and live to my full potential and i want to be an example to others.
I started off as the underdog and everyone wants you to win, as you gain popularity you are no longer the underdog so most people want you to fail. as long as you stay true to yourself you can always provail.

Completely messed up launching my corner blocks on Amazon. They are taking £9.36 in fees!. After manufacturing cost, Postage & Packaging, Vat and tax there isn’t much point so It feels like the last 6 months have been a waste, or has it.
First off I really want to thank each an every one of you that ordered, it means a lot. Both Magnetic and standard corner blocks are now out of stock wow that’s over 100 pairs gone!. There are still about 35 people that haven’t received yours yet and that’s because amazon ship stock to different parts of the uk so they can do one day delivery so just sit tight if you haven’t got yours just yet, apologies for that.
I should have just launched them on my website where I have limited stock now. I have 35 standard block, 12 magnetic and 18 standard in white color so if you want to get yours visit cromptontool.com/products/crompton-corner-block-wi….
This is the trouble when you try new things and can’t afford help from anyone because the cash flow isn’t there. It’s a massive struggle trying to make the right decisions and when it goes wrong it’s all about the lessons learned. Amazon is awful for small products because of high fees so I will just sell through my websites until I make a few more products I can bundle together.
Thanks again for the support everyone it means a lot. To draw the positive, its such a big achievement to think of a product, design it, manufacture it and bring it to market all by myself, its no small feat to do that so I’m still made up. Just need to tweak a few things till I get it right. Can’t knock a lad for trying I will always keep producing despite what happens. All the best, Stu.

Well what a fantastic day playing in a charity football match - Trade legends vs celebrities at Merthyr Town Fc. Terrific turn out and for such a good cause, raising awareness for construction workers who suffer with mental health and also in memory of Marcus Rees who we lost because of this topic. By running events like this we can start to see much needed change within the industry as the rates at which we are losing men are far too much. We need some reform and events like this help pave the way for a healthier future.
We all suffer from mental health to some degree as it’s the human condition and having studied this at degree level I can tell you that it’s not a simple fix. The opinions and solutions within counselling differ vastly and are widely contested but there is help and there’s always hope. One of the main issues in construction is the bravado image, where men play along when they are suffering badly and need help. Let’s hope with events like this we can see more support for those that are suffering, so it is there, readily available and easy accessible for all construction workers.
Knowing you are struggling is not a weakness, knowing you need help is not something to be afraid of. It is a sign of strength within, a sign that you want to take control of your life and make it better for yourself and for those around you in every way. The world needs you, construction needs you. I don’t care who you are, everyone struggles, life is very difficult but just knowing that can help save lives and encourage those suffering to seek help.
I want to personally thanks Daniel Richards from @welsh_erection_boys and Harrison @benchin_bricky and all the organisers that put this event together. This is just the start of a new movement to help all construction workers and what a start it was.
Thanks to all those that came out to watch, the trade lads, it was great to meet you all, my family and all the celebrities. You all made it a day to remember forever and I will see you on the next match.

Over the moon would be an understatement!
Reaching number 4 best seller on amazon for the category “brick trowels”is a massive achievement in a relatively short space of time. Above the likes of marshalltown, rose, spear and Jackson, bon and more it sure is a testament to all the hard work I’ve put in so far.
I am working on a new soft grip handle design, traditional wooden handles and have a few new products to come soon.
14 hour days since December 2023 and only now showing signs of traction. You just have to keep going despite the noise, it’s something ive always done and always will do.
Thank you to you all for the support up to now.
If you order on amazon you can get it delivered tomorrow or you can take a look on my website www.cromptontool.com

I recently became a father for the first time to my baby daughter named Talah which means star in Phillipines language. A very fitting name for what she’s been through so far. She was born a few weeks early and was transferred from Wigan hospital to Bolton intensive care unit after her right lung collapsed (pneumothorax) and an infection.
She gained strength day after day and after 11 days in intensive care we arrived home just in-time for my birthday and Christmas. She’s feeding so well and gaining weight every day and I’m so proud of her and my wife whom did an unbeievable job and they’re both doing great now.
Huge vow of gratitude and respect for All nurses and doctors that work for the NHS, Thank you for your professionalism and conduct.
I have a new found respect for my wife and all mothers for the miracles they bring in to the world. Becoming a father has surpassed everything I expected it to be and infinitely more. You spend your life struggling trying to figure out what love is but when I held my daughter in my arms and she looked at me for the first time I realised this is it. Nothing else matters, the work hustle, chasing money and achievement. I have everything already.
Ive been working very hard on myself for a long time so I can the best father possible so here’s to the sleepless nights and the rollercoaster of fun that goes along with being a parent.
Daddy loves you very much Talah and mum xx

Exactly 12 months ago I brought an idea of mine to market with patent protection. It took me 6 years to do so with the delay of the pandemic. 12 months on and my brick trowel is doing better than I could ever of imagined. Sure there’s been a few problems but after a few revisions and listening to feedback I aim to keep improving.
I have two more patterns arriving (London wide & narrow) in January 2025 and a pretty cool design idea coming next week. Doing everything myself of course as I guess, this is how things are in the beginning. Working bricklaying in the day, 5 days a week then home making & packing trowels most nights till 10-12 at night.
Few people say it’s a gimmick or a fad but it’s the market that has the say not the opinions of the few And at the moment the market is reinforcing all the work I’ve put in so far.
I didn’t really give it too much thought for the future, in all honesty I just wanted to make my own trowel so I could use it in my videos instead of marketing others for free. Also, I had unfinished business from 20 years ago when I invented a voice activated spellcheck to help people with dyslexia which didn’t work out.
The main thing though is that I had an idea and I don’t want to be on my death bed wishing I would
of acted upon it. I did it and luckily the market is encouraging. People have great ideas, that’s the easy bit but bringing it to market with patent protection is absolute hell.
If you have an idea. Or something you want to do, don’t wait around for the right time. Start now and figure it out as you go because I really believe that the feeling of regret later in life at the things you didn’t act upon when you know you could of would far out weight the feeling of failure from at least giving it a shot.
Thank you for all of your support over the last 12 months. Stu 🧱

Very proud that my trowels are now listed on the B&Q website! This is a huge step forward for the progress for my business plans. I would like to thank RIK at Zavvi for helping me get my products listed here. Overwhelmed with the response since the launch last year December 1st and were heading towards 1500 sales with only 5 returns, not bad going. It’s very hard doing everything myself as well as working in the week also but I’m doing whatever it takes. I believe in myself and this trowel. The reviews speak for themselves. Wide and Narrow London are on their way later this year!
Doing a live stream later tonight about 8 so catch you all then.
It would be awesome if anyone could order on the B&Q website and leave a review to get me ranking against the monopoly brands. David VS Goliath.
