I am still working on my Season 2 video! It's been a bit on the backburner because of life and stuff, but I have this week off from work and am planning to make a good dent in the video during this time. I also broke my toe over the weekend so I don't really have much else to do😅

The video is already an hour long and I haven't even got through analysing the first episode🥴 The whole hour isn't just about the first ep, but are we still feeling like we want one big video covering the whole season? That's what I'm currently planning but at this rate the full vid is probably gonna be well over 2 hours. I'm cool with that if y'all are, but wanted to see if there's any interest in a multipart series at this point. lmk!

IF I were to make a video about Season 2 of The Last of Us (emphasis on IF), would y'all rather I make it one long-ass video, or separate it into a series of shorter videos discussing each episode? I'm not sure what format it would take (again, IF I make it), and I may not go with whichever y'all prefer if I find another format that works, but I'm curious at this point to know what y'all would be most interested in. I am so excited to finally share this project! I had so much fun producing this deep dive on how Bloom & Rage utilizes magic realism, one of my favourite genres. For those of you who haven't played this game, it would mean the world to me if you still checked it out. If you've been thinking of playing it and want to avoid spoilers, the first ~30 mins or so don't reveal any major plot points.

Queer games from smaller (Canadian!) developers are so important to me, and this one really left its mark; just like its predecessor, Life Is Strange. I hope you enjoy the video and decide to check out the game if it interests you. It's really quite special, imho. And if you're not sure you want to play it yourself, I have a full playthrough of it up on my channel.

Howdy🤠 I wanted to provide a little update on what my plans are for the next couple of weeks!

Firstly, I'm hoping beyond hope that I'll be able to put out my Hillcrest video before Season 2 of The Last of Us premieres on Sunday🤞🏼 Stay tuned for that. It'll be a quick 15 min analysis kinda like my Ground Zero video.

Of course, starting this Sunday I'll be watching each episode of The Last of Us every week and will upload my reactions ASAP. I might do a fun lil live stream of the first couple hours of the game before the premiere, details to come.

On April 15th Tape 2 of Bloom & Rage comes out, so I'll definitely be playing that and uploading in tandem with my TLOU HBO reactions.

Once Season 2 has wrapped up, I have big plans for my next TLOU analysis series, which will probably come out in multiple parts. It's a subject that has been highly requested since I started making these videos and it's something I'm really excited to cover. I'm also really looking forward to seeing what new context the show might bring to it.

Thank you as always for your endless patience and support. I wish I could put out content more frequently, but the downside to being a game writer full-time is that it's sometimes hard to keep writing about games when I get home🥲 I promise I'm always cooking behind the scenes.

Hey! I used to be TLOU Explained!

You may have noticed I rebranded a bit🤠 Sapphixated is a combination of "sapphic" and "hyperfixated", since I am a lesbian with autistic special interests and hyperfixations. I wanted to be able to talk about other stories that I love on this channel, like Arcane and Life is Strange. I will still make content about The Last of Us, of course, and already have some more TLOU videos planned. And of course when Season 2 premieres I will be here with my reactions.
