Hi! I'm Avery

I was diagnosed with stage 4B pancreatic cancer when I was just 4 years old. I had a major surgery that also left me with Type 1 diabetes. I have been fighting for nearly 7 years. It's been a tough journey, filled with challenges most people don’t face—but I’ve learned to keep going, to stay strong, and to find joy in the things I love—which is all things Pokémon and video games!

Even though I’m fighting a hard battle every day, I still try to live with a big heart and a positive mindset. Life can be tough, but I’m tougher. I believe in doing what makes me happy, dreaming big, and sharing my story with others, especially kids with cancer, to let them know they’re not alone.

My favorite Pokémon in the world is Pikachu, but I love Mew, Mewtwo, Charizard, the Eeveelutions, Arceus, Snorlax & Gengar!

I could have never made it this far if it wasn’t for my dad and my mom helping push me to keep fighting❤️ I love you!
