I am looking for Japanese people to participate in a questionnaire about "Things that tourists should avoid doing in Japan". *日本語版は下記にあります
I would like to better understand how Japanese people feel about certain rules or behaviors, and how important they are considered, as I have heard many different opinions in the past.
Part of the questionnaire results will be shared in a video on my YouTube channel and social media to help inform tourists about behaviors they should be aware of and avoid.
The questionnaire is completely anonymous. No personal information will be shared.
I am a content creator and tour guide, and I want to share this information with tourists—based not only on my experience, but also on the voices of Japanese people. Please let me know if you are interested to participate.

Hey everyone. How have you been? I'm planning to film some easy talking head videos, to share more travel information with you in a format, that is easier for me to film and edit. (I've been trying to film travel videos in Tokyo - and I will - but the weather hasn't been on my site)
Here are some topics I'm considering. Please let me know in which you are interested the most.
Please leave a comment, if you have any other topics or questions about Japan / Tokyo.

Hi! I looks like I haven't been uploading and updating you in at least one month. If you follow me on IG (@tina_huegel_travelguide) you might already know what I have been up to. Somehow a lot is changing and some things are staying the same (I'm still waiting for my visa!)
About 1 month ago I moved into a share house, the most stable lifestyle I had since I left Japan. I spent a lot of time, sorting my schedule, I started finally to meet some friends that I haven't been seeing in a while, and I have been trying to balance work and free time. I also attempted to focus for one month only on drawing, which completely threw me off course, because I wasn't used to it. But I'm now back to creating content (mainly on IG and Tiktok). In my last post I mentioned several updates and I will now also focus on these, meaning creating guides and other e-products (partly also for free), for travellers that come to Tokyo or Japan.
As for Youtube, I've been slowly making minimal progress, but creating videos takes up so much time, that I want to take a break from creating regularly (as I'm already doing), before I really start to completely fall out of love with longform videos. It might get easier, once I have my visa, as I would be able to for example pay an assistant to help me with editing. I also noticed in the past, that videos, I forced myself to edit, didn't do well and I was never heppy with those, so I'm also taking my time in order to really focus on what's important and how I can improve my videos!
I hope you are also enjoying this fall season and are well! If you have any questions ore want to keep in touch either comment under this post or send me a message on IG.

Hi everyone, I have been working on several things. You will find all the relevant links on my bio site: bio.site/tinahuegel
Here you will find the following links:
- my travel blog + website
*where you can subscribe to a monthly newsletter with travel tips
- guides, itineraries, maps created on Thatch (*will be added)
- my very own travel merch
- Tokyo Accommodation Guide (Amazon) $4,99
- tour guide page
*you can hire me as a tour guide in Japan
- booking link for traditional experiences
*affiliate link
- link to my Youtube channel
- a link to support me
Not all of it is paid content. Much of it (travel guides on Youtube, travel blog + newsletter, other guides + maps) is completely free! :D
As for my current situation, I moved back to Japan in August, applied for my visa and I'm slowly started to work as a freelance content creator and private tour guide. I'm currently very happy with everything that has been happening.
I hope that I will be able to upload content on Youtube soon, but the truth is, that I do not have a lot of time to edit longform videos. I'm working very slowly on some scripts, but as soon as I get my residence card, I will have to do a lot of other things first. I was hoping to get settled in Japan sooner, but the whole process takes several month and I'm still more or less in between places. BUT, at least I got all the things done, that I mentioned above. I'm also enjoying my new work & my focus on Instagram and Tiktok content. If you have an account on IG and Tiktok, you should follow me there, for daily updates and uploads about life in Tokyo!
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! If you are interested in travel & Japan, please take a look at all of the links I gathered on my bio site!
Have the best of days!
Tina
