I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about something important to our community and other mental health spaces, both online and offline.
September is National Suicide Awareness Month.
You never know what the people around you are experiencing. Recognize the signs of suicidality in those close to you, and check in on people you care about. Let them know they matter.
There are people who care about you. Please reach out to sources or friends or family if you have thoughts of harming yourself or others, if you feel like giving up, feel ashamed to be alive, or feel like a burden.
It is worth staying alive.
