Hi, I'm TheSudrianA0 (named after my favorite character as I'm sure you all know) and I am a huge Thomas fan! I make videos regarding Thomas & Friends, including my original fan series "Great Sodor Engines" (which is free to adapt as long as I'm given credit of course).
I also like other shows as well like TUGS, Theodore Tugboat, Shining Time Station, Magic School Bus, Spongebob (S1-3), Liv & Maddie, A bit of Sesame Street, Muppet Show, I Love Toy Trains, Real Wheels, Budgie the Little Helicopter, Cyberchase, The Mr. Men (2008), Hamtaro, Victorious, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, K-On and Winnie the Pooh.
Also, my videos are strictly made for teen/adult/older fans of Thomas, so they are NOT made for kids!
Now there are some rules I would like everyone to follow:
1. No bullying, harassment, swearing, or bad comments!
2. No stealing!
3. No personal questions!
If you ignore any of these rules, your comments or channel will be blocked! Thank you for cooperating and enjoy my videos!

To anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I highly recommend New Controller of the Railway by @backstagestudios8616. This is another big role I voiced acted in since BlueTraxDak's The Secret Railway, not only voicing Edward, Henry, Gordon, Percy and Toby - but also the REAL controller of the railway himself! I've had tons of fun with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zn5pP....

On this day, 150 years ago - an LBSCR A1x "Terrier" 0-6-0 tank engine was built.
He became the world's first preserved standard-gauge tank engine by the Bluebell Railway in Sussex, England and has become one of those real life legends in popular literature such as Thomas the Tank Engine (both in the Railway Series and the TV Series). His name is Stepney - but everyone calls him "The Bluebell Engine".
While he doesn't run anymore like he used to and is now a static display, but he'll always remain popular in everyone's hearts. Happy 150th Birthday Stepney!
And there's one word left to say "BLUEBELLS FOREVER!"

Now that we've heard Mumfie storyteller Patrick Breen's voices for Henry, Toby and Bertie in Magic Railroad's Assembly 1999 Cast, here's my thoughts on each:
Henry - hearing what his actual voice for him now made me realize - only the leaked Workprint in 2020, Phil Fehrle did the placeholder voice for him along w/ Toby (in the 2 engine meeting scenes where he sounded stuffy) whereas in the coal trucks scene and the assembly cut, he spoke in some sort of Cockney accent. However, I'm divided on this - while he sounded normal in the Tidmouth scene, but for the remainder where he is sick, it sounded more stuffy (due to the way they've written him and I think the Cockney accent works for another character like Neville). It's an alright voice, but not how I'd picture him (still waiting to hear Colin Fox's take on him if a clip comes up soon, though I still enjoy Kevin Frank's performance).
Toby - He's pretty good, though like I said he works more for Edward w/ that sorta Scottish-fluent dialect - Colm Feore just fits the former much more w/ that old Anglian voice.
Bertie - While I like Kevin Frank's voice (especially the little 'vroom vroom' that gives him more life), I'm actually starting to grow on Patrick's take on him a bit, he does give me a chuckle when he said 'Hey Tommy Babe' - so I think he'd could've stayed on the film as Bertie.
Side-note, but I can see why Britt Allcroft wanted Patrick to voice act on the film - this would've had a culmination of all three narrators on her 2 shows she created (Alec Baldwin, Michael Angelis and Patrick Breen - the latter from The Magic Adventures of Mumfie to voice a few Thomas characters, even if both he and Angelis didn't make it into the final cut).

So the 3rd Magic Railroad footage compilation just came out yesterday and there's a few clips where James was voiced by Eddie Glen and a random kid actor in 2 different cuts (while it had Eddie Glen as Thomas and Neil Crone's Russian accent for Diesel 10).
My thoughts: neither voice fits James. Like, Eddie's voice (while Cockney) is literally the same as his Thomas/Percy voice, and the unknown kid actor's voice doesn't convey the scenes (especially in the climatic scenes like the Smelter's Yard showdown) - and sounds too much like a pre-teen.
And to add Neil Crone (who did voice James in another cut of MRR since he and Kevin Frank were tasked of trying out different characters on the film), he's honestly decent (though I can imagine this being a US voice - and in an AU where there's a separate dub for Magic Railroad).
Also, you think Stanley has had the most voice actors in the show, well James had beaten him by a storm in 1st place.

New TATMR Photoshop Edit (and another Henry one)!
As seen in the Leica Reel/pre-May 1999 drafts, there's an unused written scene where Thomas tries to warn Henry about the collapsing Big Dipper viaduct, but falls on deaf ears due to Henry's noisy puffing (given how he's a big engine). Then during the campfire scene (which is supposed to have rain in it) - Thomas, along w/ Mr. Conductor and Lily would've heard Henry coming straight towards it - and Lily using her climbing skills hurries to save Henry by waving her knapsack as a warning flag (as a reference to the 3 Chimneys kids from the Railway Children waving their petticoats to stop an oncoming train from hitting some trees and rocks, as well as the S5 episode Haunted Henry) which he stops just in time.
However, since I can't do rain in Photoshop, I thought about having this take place during the scene of Thomas was giving Lily a ride back to Muffle Mountain and then the action happens. Kinda wish Henry was given dialogue during this sequence (and a train to pull, so I added the Flying Kipper in this edit).

Remembering Britt Allcroft on what would've been her 82nd birthday (and 1 year eleven days later which she sadly passed away). To commemorate her, I've rewatched the Leica Storyboard Reel of TATMR in her honor (she did all of the voices for the characters herself in this, it would've looked like she could've been the first female storyteller of her own show). I recommend this for any fan who hasn't got a chance of seeing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WKUs...

I don't know if this counts as an unpopular opinion, but I find Ulfstead Castle to be one of the most overrated locations in Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. Now I don't necessarily dislike it, I enjoy it for its history like in King of the Railway (when it was first introduced), but throughout the Renaissance era, it tends to get overused a lot and is always the main spot for events like Christmas parties going on - I take Great Waterton over it any day because while it does have history and lore, but being connected to Sodor's railway history makes it tons enjoyable and I'm sad it never gets used often. I would've love to see what the Great Waterton special looks like.

Happy B-Day to Paul Dobson - who voiced acted on many different shows and movies - including Howdy and Chef-Ham from Hamtaro's English Dub, and a few TUGS characters on Salty's Lighthouse such as Big Mac (or Stack), Hercules, Izzy Gomez, Billy Shoepack, etc.
