Welcome to BRG! My name is Kelsey Keeling, my husband and I are scrappy farmers working to breeding a flock of Australian Whites in South Central Kansas.
We started this YouTube channel to take you along as we breed up our Katahdin ewes to an Australian White rams to produce a sheep and also show our embryo transfer work to get full blood Australian Whites.

We ended up with 4 bottle lambs out of 80ish born. 1 from prolapse and 3 orphaned (2 as twins)
We are definitely happy with that! Prolapse ewe was processed on the farm & is in the freezer, the other 3 we have without lambs will be fattened over the summer and processed for customers 👍🏻

Tough way to start 2024 lambing.
Got to mama too late. She had probably been in labor all night. She got him halfway out but he came backwards….
Mama is up and recovering on pasture. Saw her pee, poop, and drink water. All good signs after a rough labor.

We have been blessed with nice slow rains yesterday and overnight! Not sure how much it is but we will take anything!
