The fires in California are SO devastating that I can hardly get them off of my mind. I just read about the man who died in front of his house with a hose in his hand. I Cried. This Natural disaster has me stopping to pray and I hope for safety and resilience for everyone involved.

Sending all of my best wishes and prayers to those in harm's way. In the days to come, I'm sure there will be opportunities to help from across the country of America and beyond.

Meanwhile, I will sew and find peace in my fabric creating beauty to soothe my soul. I'm sure many of you empathetic quilters are feeling the same.
