Let's make an actual update post. (this is gonna be a long post so unless you care a lot about my videos I wouldn't suggest reading all this...)
For the first time since like Janurary 2024, around the time my channel got deleted. I finally have the yearn to make videos again, despite that I've only uploaded 1 video and its only like 9 seconds long, why is that? I'll give a genuine explanation now...
I have been working on the next video, originally I was gonna post a series of videos, but I still have problems with being a perfectionist. The currect video I am working on I have scrapped THREE TIMES already. This could have been because I didn't like the tuning, I wanted to restart on the animation process, or I just straight up didn't find the joke funny anymore. I thought of this as a form of progress though, as each time I did restart, the video got better.
So when is the video coming out? soon? maybe? I don't want to just give out a time and for it to not come out until much later because I suck at making promises. What I will say is I am happy with it, but I am still testing things. Reminder this is something I am completely new too and my main goal is to try and find a style that not only looks good, but I can also create efficiently.
I do have an idea for what I want to do going forward though after this video is released. Remember how I was creating those really long talkloids? yeah, I want to start doing that again. I have an idea of a series of talkloid videos I want to make, though they may take a long time for me to create. After the release of this video (which is only about 50 seconds long) I will be trying hard to work on my next video which might take significantly longer to complete.
In the mean time I might make other videos as a side thing when I am bored. I did use to post Hoyo content (them being some of the most popular videos on my channel) and I did plan on making this channel half vocal synth and half hoyo content before my channel got termed. With that being said I do plan on making hoyo content in the future, though originally I made my videos with AI voices, I want to try getting VA's for them instead, since AI voices kinda suck... So if I do make hoyo content again then they might be Voice Acted but will probably be less quality than the vocaloid videos in terms of editing.
Side note, I am still a student and also am empl*yed at a j*b, though I am only part time, they still take up time so in reality I usually only have a few days in a week to work on my videos.
I got this cool new tablet, I am using it to write this post. It's so cool, I can watch videos comfortably in my bed with a bigger screen now! I also have been getting back into pjsk with it, but I suck at the game now. :(
oh the video? yeah I was working on it, and I was like "yo I will totally have it done in a week bro" and now its been almost 2 weeks and silence...
I was making it I swear!!! but then SOMEBODY woke me up at like 4AM and forced me to drive TWO HUNDRED MILES out to some random state with like 2 hours of sleep to help them with something and my body hasn't recovered since... I am so tired like all the time now! it sucks... but you can't rush perfection as they say! and I will continue to use that stupid quote as an excuse to why I am slacking off. And don't worry I will still make videos :) (eventually)
The tablet is cool though! maybe I could make a pjsk video.
I am happy to see that the video I uploaded got 200 views in under 24 hours. I honestly thought this channel was dead and expected it to get like, 10 views. It also makes me really happy to see all these positive comments.
I'm gonna try and challenge myself, I will be trying to upload at least 1 video a week and see how long I can go with that, mainly to try and bring myself back into the swing of things, I've been wanting to return for awhile but just never had the motivation too, now that I believe I do, I am gonna try my best to not have it die out.
The next few videos I will be making however, will be very short, I most likely won't make a video over a minute long for awhile, I really don't want to overwhelm myself.
