Tomorrow I have my second eye appointment with a different eye Dr. same office.
I mentioned that about a month ago I think I had pink eye in my left eye and my vision worsened around that time. If it was because of cataracts, why is my vision better in my left eye this morning. Not perfect, but I can make out words using my normal computer glasses. Not a complete blur. I can actually surf ebay! It wouldn't go from worse to better if it were cataracts right? UGH! Just sayin'!

It's my Birthday and I'll whine if I want to 🎂 😂
Some good and maybe bad news. I don't need cataract surgery! Yay! My eyes did improve! It wasn't my imagination! Ha! So there! But he found a white bump on my lower lid that he's concerned about and did say "it could be Cancer". So now I have to see another Dr. about that. Also, the Dr. didn't seem to care at all about my prescription. Which I NEED TO SEE!!!! And although I knew it was a second appointment, they went through all the same tests again. I thought I would just be talking with him. What bothers me is that it was like a Fast-Food kitchen. This, this, that, that, boom and done. How about now? Now? NOW!? I felt a lot of pressure! And they didn't give me my PD pupil distance which is important when you have Astigmatism. I would have to come back in or get it at the eye glass store.

Now I'm not sure what to do. My eyes seem even better this morning. Left still blurry but better than two days ago! Will my left eye continue to improve? Right now i'm using an old pair in combination with an older pair just to see out of my left eye. And I'm going to say it - I don't trust the prescription they gave me 😳

But I made it to 69! Wasn't sure I would this year. I think it's Sushi Day. I love Sushi! Wish it wasn't so expensive. Really want a glass of wine! Haven't had wine in a long time because of my health 😥

6:20 pm. My eyesight has been GREAT both days! I can see small print on my pc using my original glasses! I'm so happy!

December 19th, morning. Too good to be true. My left eye looks a little pink and is once again out of focus. Frak Me! Oh well.

Just got home from the Cancer reconstructive specialist. He thinks the bump on my eyelid IS cancer. He wanted to do the biopsy this morning. I wanted to wait until after Christmas, but then I remembered my insurance deductible in the new year. Snip and cauterize! He's convinced it's cancer but now we wait for the test results. He seems competent so there's that. Problem is he's going to remove a chunk of my lower eyelid, then pull the two sides together. Man! I tell ya!

New Wrinkle Update.
November 18th I had one mercury filling replaced. Originally the Dr. wanted to also do the tooth next to it that has a composite onlay? He chose just to replace the mercury filling. Apparently something must have happened because afterwards he said the nerves in that tooth are likely to recede and I'll need a root canal! No mention beforehand! 😬

Yesterday, Friday evening, I started having mild pain in the tooth. Enough to make it difficult to fall asleep. I don't believe my insurance covers root canal and crown.

Regardless, the timing couldn't be worse as I'm seeing my eye Dr. on Wednesday to talk about cataract surgery. Monday I'll call the dentist about my tooth. Pretty sure both can't happen at the same time. Right now I'm wearing a magnifier headset I've used for close-up work. Like cleaning the lettering on the bottom vintage Magnalite cookware. Not ideal but it's allowing me to type this blather 😳

At least increasing the subtitle text size to maximum is allowing me to watch some K-Drama. I do love my K-Drama I tell ya! 😂

Good Friday! Here's the scoop as my Sister used to say.
I saw the eye Dr. Wednesday. He said I can't see because of Cataracts and a new prescription is pointless until after removal surgery! I've known I have cataracts for years but they were mild. How can this happen in a matter of weeks. Plus I thought it was my right eye, not left, that was in worse shape. I wasn't ready to commit to SURGERY! Made another appointment for the 10th with the Dr. who would do the SURGERY!

Yesterday I took an old pair of glasses and put them in front of my current Computer glasses and I could see clearly out of my left eye! I popped the lens out of the right side, since that eye seems pretty good. Taped the glasses together and I could see all evening! This morning it's just not as good 😭 Sigh. Thought it might help me get through the week.

One thing I didn't mention is I have weak eye muscles. A life-long issue but controllable. However, with my left eye out of focus, that's where it's quite tough to see as a whole.

I question the need for cataract surgery at this point. If I can use glasses somehow for a little while longer, that's what I'm hoping for.

What I'd like to do: I will read all your comments and ❤️ and 👍. But for now at least, only reply when asked a question.

I'm going to try a keep making videos because I love making videos! Or not. I guess we'll see... Ba-dum-bump! 😬

Hey kids! Over the last month my eyesight has worsened dramatically in my left eye. Hopefully it's just glasses. I can barely see what I'm typing right now! But not bad for using the same computer glasses for 5 years! So if my comment replies are delayed more than usual, please bear with me. I have an eye appointment on the 8th so there's that. Still going to try and make some videos but editing (which I love) is quite difficult. Going to be a rough week. 😟

Maybe a video on my kitchen knife collection which I keep procrastinating on. Or more Whamo! Super Stuff?

I hope to do a video, hosted by Gumby and Pokey for a short health update. I'd rather they do it as I detest whining. Not other peoples whining. My own whining. I know Gumby's up for it but Pokey's holding out for big $. 😳 😁

Arriving tomorrow (fingers crossed). Eggs Friday morning? Here is a Bridgeport Copper Core 8 inch square saucepan. I might not have bought it but for a few reasons. It's from 1956 my birth year! And the pictures make it look gorgeous! It may not be. We'll have to do an unboxing! I'm so very excited! 😀
