The fireside chat with Mr. Trivedi and Mr. Narayanan on India's new labour codes was insightful and intellectually stimulating. We explored how the evolving regulatory framework is impacting businesses, employees and society, while discussing the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
The conversation reflected diverse perspectives from industry leaders, highlighting both optimism and practical concerns around implementation, compliance and long-term economic impact.
Labour reforms are a crucial step towards improving ease of doing business, increasing employment and simplifying compliance. However, their true success will ultimately depend on effective implementation, awareness among stakeholders and balanced execution across industries.
A sincere thank you to the organizers and all participants for fostering such a meaningful exchange of ideas.
