Hey friends, sorry for being MIA. I feel like I should answer some questions I've been getting.

Q: Where were you?
A: Life is tough, guys! I'm just trying to stay afloat. I've been engulfed in life outside of the internet and unfortunately I let it take away from my musical endeavors. I didn't quit, I have no intention to. I've just been so busy trying to be a better me. To be completely transparent with you all, I have been suffering from extreme anxiety & stress for the past few months, more so than I am used to. It's completely hindered my ability to do much with my brand and it's caused me to have a lot of issues with myself that I haven't had before. I am trying my absolute hardest to get over this, but it is so much easier said than done.

Q: Where is FLOOR IT?
A: Floor it was supposed to be released fully back in April but a lot of life updates have happened since then. Finances getting out of whack, relationship coming and going, overall just trying to keep a sense of self in this wavy world. I will do my absolute best to release the album as soon as possible, but please give me some grace and patience as I try to get back into the swing of things.

Q: Do you have any shows coming up?
A: Short answer is no, long answer is also no but with a heavy asterisk. Part of trying to regain my bearings is trying to get booked for shows as well, but I need to focus on catching up with my release schedule before I think about playing out somewhere again.

I apologize for my extended absence, but rest assured I am back. I'm always active on my Discord server (discord.gg/sotareko) and my Instagram (sotareko) and you guys can follow me there to keep up with my silly shenanigans outside of my YouTube community posts.

I appreciate your patience as I try to regain myself, I promise to bring you guys new tunes very soon.

I am very happy with the positive reception that FLOOR IT has gotten so far, I'm gad you all are liking this new direction. I have a lot of music piled up, I just have to get around to releasing it all haha.
