Well, this is a bit of a shocker. Actress and anti-Scientologist Leah Remini set to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 16 according to Bravo.com.

Now Bravo didn’t say if “The King of Queens” star will be a diamond-holding full-fledged “housewife” or just a “friend of the show”.

I guess we have to wait until the opening credits.

Congratulations to Minnesota Lynx forward Naphessa Collier, a.k.a. “Queen Phee”, a.k.a. “MVPhee” on being named to the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup team representing the USA.

Collier, who recently returned to game play late June following double ankle surgery has the opportunity to not only to compete for gold for Team USA but to continue to get her body in elite condition just in time for the WNBA playoffs where the Lynx are final favorites.

We’re almost there…No, really. It was officially announced that Minnesota Lynx players Naphessa Collier and Dorka Juhasz are participating in team practice. No more “basketball activities. The two who are recovering from injuries are practicing with the team. Their return to on court duties (i.e.being a go for a game) has yet to be determined. (Note: Prior to a recent game, Dorka was listed as “Game Time Decision”; later as “Questionable”; and finally as “Out” a couple of hours before game time.)

My uneducated guess is that we are a week away from Dorka’s return and an additional two weeks from Naphessa’s

In the meantime, I will enjoy “The Show” a.k.a rookie extraordinaire Olivia Miles.

Legendary record mogul Clive Davis passed away on Monday, June 22 at age 94.

Davis, who founded Arista Records and served as its president from 1974 through 2020 before founding J Records, signed many artists who became legends including Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Bruce Springsteen, Luther Vandross, Billy Joel, Aerosmith and Whitney Houston.

In recent years, Davis was surrounded by controversy due to his association with bad boy record producer hip hop mogul Sean “Puffy P Diddy” Combs who is currently serving a federal prison sentence. Davis co-founded Bad Boy Records with Combs in 1993.

I know this is crunch time for the WNBA. Rosters have to be set before the start of the regular season in less than one week. I know players must be waived/cut. But I never thought one of those players would be Chicago Sky’s Hailey “HVL” Vanlith. HVL, after putting up stellar numbers in the preseason, was waived by the franchise.

According to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, HVL, “is in active conversation with a number of different teams.”

On a happier note: The Sky has signed free agent veteran guard and fan fave Natasha Cloud to a one-year contract for $555K.

Former beauty queen and reality tv star Kenya Moore is down bad.

If being fired from her long-time Real Housewives of Atlanta gig wasn’t bad enough, Kenya is experiencing very public legal and financial woes.

Recently, the contents of her Atlanta-based salon were placed outside the result of a dispute with her landlord over missed rent payments.

According to media reports citing legal documents, the landlord sued Kenya for failure to pay. Kenya countersued stating the landlord owed her money for the cost of renovation which totaled approximately $80K.

The judge ordered Kenya to pay the landlord two payments of $44K in addition to the monthly rent of $5.5K or vacate the property.

According to the landlord, Kenya has done neither.

So here we are…

Kenya did make an exclusive statement to TMZ saying a whole lot of nothing, never mentioning why she didn’t remove the items from the salon before the landlord did.
