We are surviving and the job is progressing. Our plan is to hang on until this marsh is cleaned out, then head back into town and rest at a quiet inn while we try to ring auntie over free wi-fi. We are not feeling starting another job with this crew... because who knows what we'd be getting into?! 🧔☎️👵

This is the roughest job we have ever been on! No wonder this crew lost a few. No training... just that old school rough and tumble old gen approach. We know it all too well by now. Thankfully, our past experiences may have been just the "basic training" we needed to survive this. 🧔⛺🐍

With no place to call home, we had to think fast! Luckily, an old colleague called with an opportunity... a logging crew working up north lost a few hands and our colleague has confidence we can fill in and help finish the job. With food & shelter included, how could we refuse this? 🧔⛺🌲

Decided to take on a few plowing contracts this winter in order to stay busy. Can't complain... early hours, decent pay & free hot coffee! Not to mention... the peace of mind which comes with rising early & working solo. 👷🍩☕
