💝🎉New Year's Wish from Valeriy: "I wish that next year, all figure skating fans would stop emulating "football hooliganism" and learn to support their favorite skaters with respect. To appreciate rather than fight with other fan groups. Amen!" (Val's tg channel)

🏅 ISU announced that Russian skaters will be allowed to participate in a qualifying tournament in China to win a spot for 2026 Milano Olympics. The athletes will be able to take part as neutral athletes only (no anthem, no flag, no national flag colors on the uniform) and the quota will be individual (no substitutes for the Olympic Games).

⛸In September 2025, one athlete/team from each 4 disciplines can travel to Beijing and secure a spot in the Olympics. In order to do so, they need to finish in the top-5.

🧊The Rus Fed must submit the names of athletes and substitutes selected for Beijing qualifier to the ISU by February 28, meaning the results of this Russian Championship (currently taking place in Omsk) will likely be decisive.

🌏After the names are announced in February, there will be a review by ISU and other involved committees to determine if these figure skaters meet the neutrality and anti-doping criteria.

❌Russians will not be allowed in the team event at the Olympics-2026.

🚫Russian (neutral) athletes will be blocked from speaking to the press—neither at the tournament in Beijing nor at the Olympics.
